McNamara Tennis Academy is a family-run, father and son operation led by coach Dillon McNamara. We have been helping Henderson players of all ages improve their tennis for years, working out of two convenient locations so you do not have to travel far to get quality coaching.
Whether you are a complete beginner who has never held a racket or a competitive junior preparing for USTA tournaments, we have a program built around your goals. Our approach focuses on long-term development rather than short-term fixes, so the skills you build actually stick.
Where We Teach in Henderson
Sienna Heights Park
Sienna Heights Park is one of our primary teaching locations in Henderson. The courts are well-maintained and easy to reach from most Henderson neighborhoods. We use this location for private lessons across all age groups and skill levels.
Silverado High School
Silverado High School courts serve as our second Henderson location, used primarily for our intermediate and advanced junior clinic schedule. The facility gives us the court space needed to run structured group sessions with multiple players.
Programs Available in Henderson
We offer three main program types at our Henderson locations.
Private Lessons
One coach and one player, start to finish. We build a personalized training plan from the very first session and adjust it as you improve. Video analysis of your strokes is included so you can see exactly what to work on. Rates range from $60 to $100 per hour depending on the coach.
Junior and Youth Clinics
Group sessions for players from age 4 through high school, organized by skill level. Beginners start with slower balls and smaller courts. Advanced juniors work on point construction, tactical play, and USTA tournament preparation. Classes are $25 per session.
Adult Group Clinics
Our Wednesday night adult session runs from 6:30 to 8 pm and welcomes players from complete beginners through the 4.5 level. It is a great way to meet other league players and get a structured workout. Classes are $25 per session.
About Coach Dillon McNamara
Dillon McNamara brings about 19 years of competitive playing experience to every lesson. He has competed at the men's open, futures, and challenger levels, which means the technical and tactical knowledge he shares comes from real match experience at a high level.
Over the past five years as a full-time coach, Dillon has developed a teaching approach built around video analysis. He records student strokes during sessions and reviews the footage together so players can see their own mechanics and understand exactly what to change. Most students find this accelerates progress compared to coaching based on verbal cues alone.
The academy keeps a high coach-to-student ratio and never overcrowds a court. Every player gets real attention and plenty of repetitions, not just a spot in a crowded line.

Who We Work With in Henderson
Our Henderson programs serve players at every stage of the game. Kids as young as 4 start in our Red Ball beginner program, using equipment sized for small players so they build real technique from day one. Older juniors and teenagers train in groups organized by ability, not just age.
Adult players range from people who have never picked up a racket to league players who want to move their USTA rating up. If you are not sure which program is the right fit, give us a call and we will help you figure it out before you commit to anything.
